Consorzio Vero Cuoio Italiano was founded in 1985 by a few tanneries with the goal to promote the culture of sole leather and to communicate the high quality of their product.
The Consortium, lead by Antonio Quirici, presently has eight member companies all bonded by the same values, the same artisanal traditions with a brand, Cuoio di Toscana, created to protect a heritage of competence and know how unique in this world.
The Associated Tanneries are the beating heart of the Consorzio Vero Cuoio Italiano. Through the coordination of a board of Directors each one works to:
